Asics announces the highly anticipated new release of its fan-favorite Novablast 5 running shoe. This latest update to the Novablast line delivers a uniquely comfortable and energized running experience through a combination of lightweight materials and Asics' all-new midsole material. Embracing Asics' design philosophy, which honors the Japanese principle of "kaizen" (continuous improvement) and embodies it in every new product, the Novablast 5 shoe features innovative updates to the midsole foam, upper and tongue tooling, and overall design elements. The new materials enhance comfort and energy. First introduced in the Glideride Max shoe, the Novablast 5 features Ff Blast Max foam cushioning technology, which helps increase bounce performance by approximately 8.5% compared to previous Novablast models. Currently, the Novablast 5 is the only shoe in the Asics line to feature a full Ff Blast Max technology midsole. The Novablast 5's upper has also been improved for comfort, now featuring an engineered jacquard mesh for enhanced breathability compared to its predecessor's woven upper. The Novablast 5's tongue construction also draws inspiration from the Superblast footwear line, with a gusseted wing design that helps provide secure lockdown and instill confidence during workouts.
