Asics announces the launch of a new shoe, the Gel-Nyc, inspired by the Gel-Nimbus 3, Gel-Mc Plus V and Gel-Cumulus 16. Inspired by the original design, this shoe uses materials and innovative technologies that are more in line with current trends, showing the vibrant urban spirit of New York. Many classic Asics running shoe styles in the early 2000s, combined with the vibrant urban spirit of New York City, have jointly achieved the creativity of the Gel-Nyc series in the upper and color matching. The shoe was based on the Gel-Nimbus 3 in the early development stage, and various decorations on the upper of the Gel-Mc Plus V were integrated into it. Asics' design team was able to reconstruct the classic shoe, bring it a brand-new design presentation, and create more possibilities in color splicing. The Gel-Nyc series uses soft but powerful black and mud gray, cream and dark gray to truly restore the image of New York's city landmarks. Asics inherits past classics and creates new life. It reconstructs and recreates many iconic running shoe design details to create Gel-Nyc, a modern mix and match work.
