Nike Shox R4 Series Nike Low-top Sports Leisure Air Cushion Sneakers
Jamaican-British designer Martine Rose is back with the Nike Shox Mr4, a joint shoe launched with Nike last year, in a new colorway. The shoe was first unveiled at the brand's spring and summer fashion show. Through the observation of football and female athletes, the avant-garde style and square-pointed toe shoes with mules design roughly maintain the previous structure, and are injected with blue and purple gradient tones and reflective details inspired by goalkeeper jerseys and terraces in the 1990s, presenting a completely different flavor from the previous black and white styles. The shoe is a transformation of the Nike Shox R4 launched in 2000. This classic shoe style of the millennium is most iconic for its exposed air cushion on the sole, equipped with the classic Shox cushioning midsole system. The Shox series can be traced back to 1984, when designer Bruce Kilgore began researching the Shox project. It is said that the inspiration for this shoe came from observing the bounce of indoor track and field sprinters after hitting the track surface. However, finding materials that provide enough support has always been a problem. It was not until polyurethane was adopted that the Shox cushioning midsole system was released.
